Fusion92 Opens In-House Café and Innovation Space

CHICAGO, March 2, 2018 – Fusion92 has announced the launch of The Lab, an in-office café and innovation space.

Conceived as a one-of-a-kind multipurpose space, The Lab is equal parts coffee shop, gallery, co-working space and social hub. Its opening gives employees and visitors alike a convenient place to gather for morning coffee, informal meetings and evening events.

“The Lab was born out of a desire to create a space where people feel inspired to share their ideas, leading to better collaboration and more breakthrough thinking,” said Jacob Beckley, Fusion’s SVP of Innovation.

To realize this vision, Fusion92 completely transformed the lower level of its Chicago office building, renovating fixtures, installing new furniture, hiring a barista and commissioning a local artist to create a 25-foot graffiti wall.

“Innovation is in our DNA,” said Associate Creative Director Mark Jovic, who led the development of The Lab. “If an employee wants a place to think a little differently, settle in for a productive day free of meetings, start the day off with a jolt of caffeine or end the day arguing with colleagues over a pint, they need not look further than The Lab. It has it all.”
